Long, wide sand-bottom beach break with soft, forgiving whitewater and multiple peaks, the single most beginner-friendly wave on the island, no reef anywhere in the lineup. Best on a mid tide with a small SW swell; gets fat and closed-out on a big swell, and shallow/fast at dead low. Heavily crowded with tourists, schools and beach hawkers year-round; instruction here is also the cheapest per hour on the island because supply of independent coaches and schools is so dense.
